Fraudulent subscription set up
Like so many other - I bought a one off product from this company and without permission they set up a subscription and I only found out when they emailed me to say my next supply was on the way and they took money out of my bank account. I refused to accept delivery of the product.
No phone number available and 5 emails ignored. My case is now being dealt with by PayPal.

Same as others. They automatically sent a second set of pills which I didn't order.
How do I know that? Simple. I NEVER sign up for subscriptions with a merchant with whom I don't have experience. Absolutely NEVER.
They guarantee a full refund if not satisfied. I am not satisfied. I ordered ashwagandha. They are way more expensive than others.
It gave me a stomach ache so I stopped it. Didn't bother to return because I knew I had only a single purchase.
So far three emails have gone unanswered so they are not to be trusted. I called my credit card and blocked them so they can't charge it for more.

I signed up for the 3 month subscription and received the product. ONE WEEK later I get an email stating Thank You for your order.
I didnt order anything, I was not due for another 3 months.
What is odd as well if they sent me a 2 month supply! I have emailed them for 4 days with NO RESPONSE!

I wrote to BetterVits saying I wanted to return the items they sent, because I had not intended to sign up for automatic delivery every 90 days. They responded, after having seen my complaint on your site, saying that if I would return the items, they would reimburse me.
I returned the items on August 4, and so far, I have not been reimbursed. My next step will be to track the package and then email them again.
The company just sent me a duplicate of the order and billed me automatically via PayPal. I had no intention of signing up for an automatically renewing order, but I may have hit the wrong button by mistake.
The company advertises a money-back guarantee, so I tried to contact them via 'Contact us' on their website as well as their customer service email to ask how I could return the items and get my money back, but they have not responded. I called PayPal and asked them to block any future billings, but I would like Bettervits to reimburse the $124.20 in exchange for the items.

Bettervits customer service was unresponsive until I contacted Pissed Customer. My contacting Pissed Customer elicited prompt and satisfactory responses. (I had to contact Pissed Customer twice.)
I mistakenly signed up for multiple deliveries of some items, which arrived in the mail. BetterVits in the U.S.
assured me that I would be refunded. The items were delivered to them on August 7, and I have still not received a refund.
Now when I try to contact their U.S. customer service, I keep coming up with this uk address.

I emailed to have my account cancelled and also did a skip to skip the order they were shipping me that I didn't want. When you send a message, it says they will contact you within 24 hours.
Nope, have not heard anything from them, and it should have been a big warning sign that they do not have a customer service number.
So this order is being sent anyway, and I am sending it right back, and then, of course, will have to wait a month to get my refund! ![]()

Don't think I'm the first... Ordered one pot of (very overpriced) supplements to try.
A month later, I find my bank has been charged with another £40+ and I've apparently taken out a subscription.
No, I did not! Try emailing their customer support several times, but they are not answering.
Seem to me to be scam artists to questionable fraudsters; very poor practice certainly.

They have sent me a £27 product which I do not need, totally unopened and so I have sent 3 emails asking how to return and not one has been responded too, today the 4th email I have sent said I will contact trading standards if no further response.. Legally you can return goods ordered online yet bettervits are, well, ignoring me totally, I am also going to try and cancel the bank payment, will never order again from them

Never never sign a subscription
BUT on this occasion under an email I have a subscription item. Actually prefer bulk buying so thought, ok, lets's cancel. Allegedly easy! However you can only input the email address used (no customer number etc) and the website says it will send you a code.
No code ever arrives despite the email address recognised. Desperately frustrating. Then, to compund it, THEY NEVER RESPOND TO EMAILS/CONTACT FORM despite promising in their waffle they will do so within 24 hours. I'm now keeping a record of my attempts to contact before going to the bank or my solicitor or small claims court.
So, customer service dire.
No phone number available. Next time I'm in Edinburgh though I might pop in if this is not resolved asap!
